Shade trees planted along University Street with flowers added to the central median.

About the project
A team of 18 volunteers worked over three days to plant 45 shade trees (neem and lebbeck) on both sides of the street, adding 120 flowering plants to the central median.
Seedling guards were installed and a weekly watering schedule agreed with neighbouring shop owners, who volunteered to look after the trees in front of their shops.
